The Redzone
The Redzone is located across the Collinsville football field. Nearly 10 years ago, the Lord spoke to Pastors Chip and Candace Brim and said, “I have need of that building.” After purchasing the Redzone building, it was remodeled and furnished with plenty of tables and chairs, couches, video games, and televisions to keep hundreds of young people busy. The Redzone would quickly become the most popular place to be after Friday night football games. The Redzone also serves as the primary building for Champion Youth to meet at weekly on Wednesday nights.
why do We do it?
The Redzone’s primary purpose is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for young people to gather after football games. The Redzone serves as an outreach to show the love of Jesus to our community. Rather than “preaching” the gospel to the young people in our community, we’re reaching them right where they’re at: right across the football field.
Kids grades 6th-12th come to the Redzone to hang out with friends, join the outdoor dance party, play 9-square, volleyball, basketball, sing karaoke, play video games, participate in our raffle drawing giveaways, and enjoy a free snack. In addition to the free snack of the night, the young people may purchase pop, candy bars, pickles, and popcorn. Any funds raised from these concessions go directly back into making the Redzone possible.
How Can you be a part?
We are in the process of building a larger facility to host our Redzone outreach nights. The new building will have more room for indoor activities, more restrooms, a full kitchen area, and indoor sports court.

Testimonies from the Redzone
By simply providing an atmosphere where kids feel safe, we’ve had countless ministry opportunities.
We heard that kids who were previously throwing parties had to stop their parties because no one was coming to them. They weren’t coming because everyone was at the Redzone.
We heard from parents that their son was planning on committing suicide one night after a football game because he was having a hard time making friends at school. One night one of our Redzone volunteers saw this kid sitting by himself and asked him to play 9-square with everyone. The parents said that that night changed their son. Because of the compassion of the volunteer, who pulled him in, the young man ended up making friends that night, and he no longer planned to end his life.
We’ve had local businesses become sponsors of the Redzone because of how much they believe in the impact of the Redzone.
Unsaved parents have dropped money donations on the counter because they are so grateful for the Redzone.
Kids don’t want to leave at the end of the night because of how safe the community is at the Redzone.
